Loreto - La Paz Voyage 2023

In late 2022, we paddled for a fifth time, 150 nautical miles in the Gulf of California. We paddled a Seaward Passat G3 from Loreto to La Paz in Baja California Sur via the Isla San Francisco, Isla Partida, and Isla Espiritu Santo.

We explored the amazing coastline and got challenged with the infamous El Norte wind, challenging crossings, and fast changing conditions in the Gulf of California.

The crossing from Isla San Francisco to Isla Espiritu Santo was equally a challenge in wind and sea state force 5-6 in the Beaufort scale. We managed to cross the 28 nautical miles in just 8 hours.
